On February 7, 2012, Dan was asked by the Networking and Leadership Training Organization and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency researchers in Researcher Triangle Park to address the new expectations of scientific publication as the environmental research landscape changes.This includeded an open discussion about realistic cases involving emerging issues in authorship that manifest themselves in various ways. In fact, Dan modified two NAE Ethics Online cases (case 1, case 2) to apply to the situations at National laboratories.
